Ha, climbing jokes.. If I never cycle another hill again I will not be sad.

  6. I'm quite disappointed at how little the JOGLE fund has raised so far. So much effort from the participants & not even a 1\3rd of target achieved :(

I made a good donation a while back - I am hoping that there will be some giving momentum here, after the compulsive reading mag goes out, and when the team get on the road and do their outreach. Awesome team.

      taurean

Getting more momentum now, nearly £3,000.

Thank you all. It really does help. I am struggling a bit with my training due to the awful workload, so right now I need to work on getting the balance right between work and training. I think I need to start getting up an hour early and doing a quick 15 miles (about 1hr 10 min ride time) before breakfast at the very least each day.

  11. Yayyy....I'm glad someone's donated a fiver. The fund is now 1K....Long way to go

      taurean

it's great news. it would be wonderful to make that journey, but I won't be doing it now! So Ashley and Paul and others along the way are doing it for me - and all the sufferers and carers family and friends and healthcare professionals etc needing and obtaining support from our charity.

      More money please everyone!

  12. This JOGLE Fund needs a few more fivers if anyone has a deep pocket

  13. Guys....You are not going to improve unless you start to implement the advice. Knowledge alone or kind words will not work

    1. taurean

      taurean

Absolutely. The B in CBT stands for behavioural - and we MUST all make the necessary behavioural changes in order to improve.

  14. Don't forget...Clocks go forward 1 hour tonight

I had two chances to see the tour de france in one day last year, but I was conducting a seminar so couldn't be either in Chelmsford or Epping that day. I don't think I could have faced 75 miles in the saddle then a meeting in the evening some days - you and Paul are brill.

I raised awareness with my chiropodist.Turns out she has a friend at work she thinks has what she now understands to be prefectionism OCD so she will talk to her and suggest she gets help.

      taurean

I find the more people I talk to about OCD the more they or their friends need help - often with anxiety but sometimes OCD.

Santa Claus was originally dressed in green but converted to red in advertisements, someone told me.

Christmas trees were I believe championed by Prince Albert.
