  3. Hi Gayle xx First, Well done, I am so proud of you for making this step :hug: . Like the others have said, if you could go prepared and write things down so that you don't forget and it may make you feel better to have it down on paper in front of you. You would then also have the option of giving the notes to your G.P if you struggle to say it all at the appointment. I would definately mention the S-H and the problems you've been having with eating, just so they can get the full picture of how things are for you. Well done again hun .   4. Yep ... Had a problem with taking too many painkillers from the ages of about 13 to 15, Also alcohol at around the same time. Had a struggle with the alcohol again for the past few months, but been doing well with that recently ... just gotta stop myself getting back into the tablets thing now.

  7. Hi Chuckles to the boards. Glad your friend pointed you to the site, everyone here is really lovely and supportive . Hope you find the boards as helpful as I have. Sorry you get so down sometimes , when you feel up to it maybe you could tell us a bit of what's going on and hopefully someone will be able to give you some advice.   13. Hi Smile, sorry that you're having such a rough time . I'm really sorry to hear that the waiting list is so long, it really is so bad that people have to wait so long for treatment . Have you tried any of the s'help books that are available?. A lot of people on here have found them to be very helpful. Trying one of these may help whilst you're waiting for your appointment to come through. Could you perhaps go back to see your G.P and tell him that you feel the medication isn't helping. It may be that it needs changing and he'll be able to help. Maybe you could try doing a little bit of volonteer work, just to get you out of the house a bit and get you used to the working enviroment again. This may also help to make you feel a bit more ready for some part time work etc. I hope that you feel a bit better soon , and that things start getting a bit better for you.
