      We need to adopt the approach of never giving up. 

      Because often we give up when triumph is only just around the corner. 

      If we learn what we need to know, go about applying what we need to do, however challenging this might be, we will get there.

      Self-compassion is easily lost when in the grip of OCD. 

      But learning to apply it alongside CBT is beneficial and can help us to feel we can reconnect with others. 

      We are not to blame for having OCD.

      so true and a great reminder :) when you look at it like that it becomes a great opportunity rather than a horrible scary thing!

      You are right gingerbreadgirl It is a great reminder. I took this reminder from the 2018 Conference (OCD-UK), I watched the video of the conference recently in the member area.

      Do take a look at the member's area of the forums Andrea. We have some fun there but also give very bespoke help to each other there :)

  23. Tiny tweaks can lead to big changes :D You can beat OCD!

  24. 'START' is a great verb ... you can start to be more polite to yourself... start to forgive yourself and others... you can start to take a deep breath when you need to relax...

      :D I'm glad you like it Itsnotmeitsmyocd. It's great start to do positive things for ourselves... I've recently started to have tennis lessons. I completely recomnend it (to practice a sport you enjoy) it has been an excelent stress reliever :D
