  3. Just to clarify, I have never said that excercise cures OCD. I don't understand what thing Handy learned from me. I think that exercise is important for maintaining physical fitness and helpful for health in general. I also think that exercise can be a great hobby, for example I love to play tennis and jogging, doing these sports makes me happy.

  6. I agree with you humbleno1 OCD is really insidious, but that doesn't mean that you can´t beat this thing. YOU CAN BEAT OCD don't give up, you can do this! Remember that you are not alone, you are not the only one who is fighting against this illness called OCD. I send you a big HUG
  7. Hi guys I just want to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the people that make OCD-UK possible as a charity (Ashley, moderators, anonymous people and all the people involved) My life wouldn't be the same without OCD-UK in my life. The forums are so helpful, there are no enough words to say THANKS to all the people that give advice and help on the forums. In Chile there aren't OCD charities so I can´t express in words how grateful and fortunate I feel for having OCD-UK in my life. I send you a big HUG to all of you

  14. Hi MentalChecker You are doing a great job About what you said: "I did do one this afternoon and as soon as I did it I realised what I had done and felt really bad about it". Don't feel bad for doing a compulsion, in my opinion the best way to handle the situation is saying: "Ok I did a compulsion, now I know what I did wrong, I won't make the same mistake next time and this way I won't do the compulsion next time." I hope it makes sense, Keep going you are doing a great job big HUG
  15. Hi Roy , Loving your post I would like to add that we have to be very brave to change our Thinking And Behavioural Response. Fear is the thing that paralyzes, while bravery is the thing that frees. Fear is an enemy. Most people don’t like to get to know their enemies but I am of the opinion that one must not only know their enemies, but it is infinitely beneficial to understand them. We have to understand how OCD works: OCD is just a big fat liar, we have nothing to lose if we don’t listen to our OCD. Let's choice not to listen to our enemy called OCD. Big HUG
