Guest summerleft Posted April 1, 2005 Share Posted April 1, 2005 Hi all, As ive said before ive been finding it difficult after my main stretch of CBT, but ive still been working at it , at the moment i ran out of ideas so what ive done is to everytime i get a ocd thought ive deliberatly done what its trying to stop me to do, ( i can do this now after cbt and coming to terms with ocd, i dont think its a good idea before) so say i went in the kitchen and my brain said right if you cook egg on toast with that particular egg , 'A' will happen, so ive thought right you and deliberately used that egg! ( i just read that oh dear! lol) It seems to be working not sure if its the right thing to do, but i thought nothing to loose. hope your all doing ok. Link to comment
