Guest FlyingEagle
you can use flax seed oil... or even hemp seed oil from your supermarket. The latter is especially good for you. Edited December 20, 2012 by FlyingEagle Link to comment
Ashley
Any one know if u can take a ssri with omega 3 fish oils.. ? ? Heidi x Hi Heidi, Like always anything that involves medication I would urge you to speak to a GP. I think fish oils and SSRI's are ok and should not cause too much of a problem, but I think I once read that fish oils cause a minor blood thinning, could that be made worse by SSRI's (I may be wrong on that though)? I am not sure, so whilst I suspect it is ok, I would call NHS Direct on 0845 4647 or speak to your GP just to double check. Ashley Link to comment
Guest FlyingEagle
i ate some great smoked haddock recently (full of fish oils) and it goes well with scrambled egg on toast (sorry to any vegans...) Link to comment
Guest legend
i ate some great smoked haddock recently (full of fish oils) and it goes well with scrambled egg on toast (sorry to any vegans...) not as full of omega capsulses though, that can interact with ssris, ( full of fish oils isnt actually correct, its full of one fish oil. ) so yep speak to a professional if you are thinking of taking any meds. whilst on a prescribed medication.
