PolarBear
Which urges do you mean? I still get intrusive thoughts. Everyone does. But I recognize them as such and don't get drawn into doing compulsions over them. I ignore them and they go away. Link to comment
Guest smile
I am not far from finishing the end of your book, Can I just say thank you for writing it. I can honestly say it is one of the best I have read in terms of being able to relate so much to it, Some parts of the story almost mirror my own experiences and life events. Also the way you were able to get across the thought processes in your mind was so helpful. I can never get across the way I think and the way it happens. I just don't have the words to describe, but you were able to do it. It would definitely be a book I could share with others to help show depth of my struggles. Thanks again. Link to comment
PolarBear
Smile, thank you so much for your comments. It is hard to describe what goes on in our minds when we are swamped with OCD. That's why a place like this is so important... You don't have to go into a lot of detail because we understand, as we've all been there before. Link to comment
Guest ashipinharbor
I read the preview, and I can see myself, in it. The fear, the self-loathing, the lonliness. It's just awful. When I have a chance, I'm going to buy it, and read it. Link to comment
