In other news I feel super drowsy after my tablet!

Me again!! 

I've had an awful night, so bad. I took my first Sertraline tablet at around 6:30pm last night and around 9:30pm, I initially felt drowsy. However as the night went on my aniexty went through the roof worse than it was before the tablet. 

Ive got the worst skin sensations and that panic in your chest and it seems to travel from my chest, around my back and up to my head. The sleep was terrible, not restful and I would say 2-3 hours of actual  sleep. My mouth is so dry too. 

This is not seeking reassurance but I am genuinely concerned that the tablet has made me worse and maybe starting them was a mistake. 

Any sort of hope I had yesterday has gone and I feel like I'm getting close to how I felt before when I was initially diagnosed.

if anyone has anything to share on personal experiences using this drug, please do.

SSRIs often increase anxiety for the first few weeks before kicking in.  They do for me bigtime, and they can also cause insomnia during this time.  If you can hang in there, you'll likely benefit.
