Lucy1234
I'm currently studying a Psychology degree but whenever I go to hand in assignments I get extreme anxiety that I will be told off for plagiarism. I've currently finished an essay but going to need to go back through it all again and look at where I got the information from in the books which will take ages, just so I can double check it's different enough. Does anyone have any experience of this? and have any tips? Thank you Link to comment
zx123
Hi, I don't have any experience of this but it definitely sounds like ocd. Have you been to see your doctor or your university student mental health advice team? Link to comment
PolarBear
My advice to you is don't go back and check. Doing so is a compulsion and will only make matters worse in the future. Link to comment
paradoxer
Sounds like textbook OCD. (hope I'm not repeating anyone else's words here!) * Humour meant with the best of intentions. Link to comment
ecomum
I have had this sometimes. It helps me to say 'would someone without ocd worry about this?' If not then its likely ocd. Link to comment
