Lavendar
It is said that a brain injury can cause someone to suffer from long term mental health conditions such as OCD. Does anybody on here suffer from OCD that has been caused as a result of a brain injury? Link to comment
taurean
There is no benefit from seeking the cause of OCD Lavendar. The benefit comes from accepting we have it, and getting CBT to help us overcome it. Check out my thread from a couple of days ago on this subject "What makes a person an OCD sufferer" Edited November 11, 2017 by taurean Link to comment

Whilst I am not denying that might be possible, in all my years I have never known anyone with brain injury then developing OCD. But even if that does happen, it doesn't change how the person would need to overcome OCD, by working hard, and exposing themselves to the anxiety through structured and planned therapy work.
