ocdattack15
Hello everybody, I really need help. I think that i did a really bad thing. Its stuck in my head, makes me anxious and i can not let it go. I watched a porn. Watching porn is itself a sin. But what makes me feel that i did something really bad is that the girl in the porn had a cross tattoo. I went on watching the porn and jerked off. Is this really a big sin? Is there difference between sin watching a porn actor with no cross tattoo and sin waching a porn actor with cross tattoo. I am also not really a christian, but still think that i did a really bad thing. I dont know if this has to do or not something with my OCD. Should i really be anxious and not happy from what i did? Can i move on? Please help me! Can i let this go? Thank you so much all for every answer i get. Link to comment
PolarBear
Hi there. The simple answer is that it is only a sin if you let it be. Link to comment

Thank you for your answer! But than i could do this with every sin. Do you think that this sin what i made is ok if i let it go? Or should i do something? Should i suffer some way to redeem myself from the sin? Am i aloved to let it go? I dont know if i am thinking the right way. Link to comment
cookiemonster
No sin. You have done nothing wrong. Totally natural. Link to comment
PolarBear
You are right. You could do that with every sin. I don't believe in sins, and certainly not in non-redeemable ones. It's all in the way you look at it. Link to comment

If you are a Christian, and if you think it was a sin, ask God for forgiveness, try not to do it again, and let it go. God does not require that we punish ourselves endlessly for our mistakes, even our sins. If you ask for forgiveness He will forgive you. He will forgive literally anyone who asks. Then you can let it go. Link to comment
