Hopingtorecover
Tell me recovery is possible or to at least manage it so it doesn’t control my life..: have had CBT which was helpful but now the theme has changed slightly and awaiting a referral for some more therapy. Meanwhile im pregnant with my 3rd child and feel like I will never cope.... Link to comment
PolarBear
Recovery is possible. You can certainly get to a better place than where you find yourself now. Apply what you learned the first time around to your current situation. It doesn't matter that the thoughts have changed. The thoughts matter little. It's all about your response to the thoughts. Hopingtorecover
Thanks for your response. My logic knows to just feel the anxiety and not respond. But it’s really hard when the fear is something that’s a possibility. Link to comment
PolarBear
Look at the probability. It's low. OCD always screams at you that the risk is huge, that there is real danger. It's a lie. OCD never tells the truth. It always lies. Don't buy into it. Link to comment
