Bec
I was just wondering it anyone heard the item on 'The Message' yesterday discussing whether TV programmes like 'The House of Obsessive Compulsives' and 'The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off' etc. were the modern equivalent of freak-shows. The discussion was positive, but the use of the term freak-show in a discussion featuring OCD was a bit uncomfortable. Am I being over sensitive? - probably. Did anyone else hear it? Ashley
Unfortunately, i didn't specifically hear this programme but i agree the term "freak show" is extreme. This term was used in various media dicussions before the programme "The house of Obsessive Compulsives" was aired. Off topic I know, but that was shown in New Zealand this week. Link to comment
