Constantly worried ive typed something I havent /Reality monitoring

I've heard of this before. The one thing you need to do, and it's going to be devilishly hard, is not go back and reread what you wrote. That's the compulsion. It's a checking compulsion and it will only get you more stuck.

And don't shy away from typing things out. That's avoidance and it too is a compulsion.

This is a form of checking. I only double check things which have legal or financial consequences.

We live in a culture of text and social media. And words hurt. Despite the saying that words cannot harm us. The evidence about teenage suicide and coroners’ narrative verdicts indicate this.

I think if your motives are morally sound you have no problem. You can apologise if need be.

For ease of living I am in favour of phones including video phones and face to face conversations.
