Yes the road to recovery is that balance between using CBT but also taking time out to look after your energy /health by doing relaxing things. But at the same time you don't want to be doing things to relax you if you are just doing it to avoid spikes. Learning how to respond to them via CBT techniques is what will get you recovered. However, when you change how you respond to spikes through CBT , it can be exhausting as heck. So u always need to look after yourself and not run yourself into the ground. Link to comment
