Just to echo the advice from Angst, the best thing you can do is to try and look forward, not backward. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day for you. Do your best and make sure to give yourself a break. None of us are perfect (far from it) and that includes in OCD recovery. Link to comment
Hopingtorecover Posted November 8, 2019 Author Share Posted November 8, 2019 I feel like I’m stuck in a downward spiral and I don’t know how to just stop. I am exhausted with life and it’s having an impact on my ocd. I hate to say it but I’m getting worse this week not better. Link to comment
Closed for repairs Posted November 8, 2019 Share Posted November 8, 2019 You need a win, find something ,a tiny compulsion, and put it off for a bit, or don't do it quite as thoroughly. Do something you know you can do, and get a win on the table. Even getting out of bed counts Anything , but you need a win. Link to comment
