O Neg
Earlier today, I took a parcel in for my neighbour. This seems common practice these days. When she came to collect the parcel she had her young daughter with her who I guess is about 7 years old. I gave her parcel and off they went. As they left my property I did keep half an eye on the daughter for anything obviously wrong, which there wasn't. Looking back at it now, I probably was giving OCD more ammunition! If I were well, the situation would't even be worth mentioning. OCD or POCD is a bit of a game changer. I really must learn to ignore the illusions OCD dreams up for me. But It just goes to prove no good deed (taking in a parcel for a neighbour) goes unpunished. Link to comment
paradoxer
With OCD eveything is a potential trigger. Good deed, bad deed, indifferent deed, it's all the same. The OCD brain is permanently scanning for something to embrace. The way forward? Don't yield to its drama. Link to comment
O Neg
My OCD has come up with a disgusting thought regarding this incident. It only made itself known several hours after the original event. Certainly the work of OCD. So why does my world feel like it has just collapsed? Link to comment
