Ashley
Ignore the 'obsession' in the tweet, it's the Obsessive Compulsive Drama' text within the video that is totally inappropriate. Link to comment
Gemma7
Wtf!? Who's bright idea at Sky's was that? Can they not give it a break. Link to comment
Ashley
Just on hold waiting for agent to cancel my Sky. I will miss it (and teasing Gemma about live F1 lol) but would be wrong of me to give them money whilst they think this is appropriate. Link to comment
Gemma7
Are you giving it as a reason you're leaving? They might change it? You gonna watch channel 4 then, if it ever starts? Link to comment
Ashley
I have, woman I am speaking with accepts the point I am making and is currently talking to the media dept about getting removed off Twitter, no idea if she will but im still on hold. Link to comment
Ashley
Well she assured me being looked at, bit the post still up so not sure anything much. Will have to chase again. Link to comment
Gemma7
Well i hope it gets taken down. What name of another illness would be treated this way? It's beyond belief! Link to comment
Ashley
So they updated this morning that it's been removed from their timeline, but the link still exists whilst being reviewed which is why we can still see it in our quoted tweets. Hopefully by Monday will be reviewed and deleted. Although the irony struck me whilst I was on hold for 30 minutes this morning that Sky run adverts about forthcoming drams and films... 4 times they played an avert for a dram called COBRA, the advert talks about the government coming together for crisis talks with the virus spreading that hundreds will die. Not the best time for such a drama or to run such an advert! Link to comment
Gemma7
At least they're taking it down I suppose, but still really annoying! Link to comment
gingerbreadgirl
I sometimes think brands do this kind of thing on purpose, knowing people will get upset and end up giving the advert now publicity then they can claim "pc gone mad" etc. Link to comment
