Bailey56
Hey, just wondering if anyone may know the answer to this question. First off I've been on many medications for ocd over the past 15 years all to little or no effect. After another failure I decided to go back on fluoxetine until this pandemic is over. But intrestinngly this time I've received fluoxetine oral solution instead of tablets so that I can increase by 10mg every week. My question however is could it be possible oral solution could maybe work/absorb better than tablets? A bit like cbd oil is absorbed through the lining of the mouth. Or would they work just exactly the same. Thanks in advance Link to comment
Gemma7
Hi Bailey Yes it's possible that an oral solution may be absorbed faster, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll work better. But if you have any questions specifically about your medication definitely talk to your GP or a pharmacist Link to comment
