While it might not be possible to completely distract yourself or block out bad thoughts, is there something that you can do to spread the focus of your thoughts - some enjoyable television, a book, a hobby, computer game, tasty meal, yoga, exercise, or relaxation and meditation exercises? AmandaG Posted June 30, 2020 Share Posted June 30, 2020 Oh, musical instruments are a good thing to try. I play guitar (badly!) but you have to focus 100% on what you're playing, so that can give you a break from other thoughts Link to comment
