Today is just not a good day and I feel like I'm losing control over everything! I'm trying to convince and reassure myself that nothing is changing and that I'm not loosing anyone but my bad brain takes over!

Hi JKM, sorry to hear you're having a bad day.

While it might not be possible to completely distract yourself or block out bad thoughts, is there something that you can do to spread the focus of your thoughts - some enjoyable television, a book, a hobby, computer game, tasty meal, yoga, exercise, or relaxation and meditation exercises?

I listened to this one last night and found it helped a little bit.....it didn't block everything out, anything was better than lying awake with my mind whirring.
