It means OCD is a pain in the **** One of the main goals of recovery IS that the intrusive thoughts stop worrying you! Thats the point! Now you've got meta-anxiety, worry about worry (or not enough worry). But its just another intrusive thought, another "what if". As @OCD10 says, treat it like OCD, because it is Link to comment
cashewnutsandraisins Posted November 23, 2020 Author Share Posted November 23, 2020 Hey @Ocd10 @PolarBear @dksea - sorry for my slow reply on this as I try to limit logging on to prevent my forum use becoming a compulsion but I just want to say thank you for this. Having a bit of a spike tonight but in general have felt pretty on top of things - currently reading Brain Lock and trying to put the four steps methodology into practice which I think is helping somewhat - ahead of CBT next year (on waiting list currently) Link to comment
