taurean
I like the Midlands. You can get everywhere easily from here. The grey or sandstone bricks of the houses in our countryside are gorgeous. There are lots of bungalows on this side of town and we wanted, and have, one. Generally the natives are friendly. Link to comment
Symps07
I live in Cheshire and the things I like about where I live is that there is plenty of beautiful countryside to roam and also plenty of local history including Beeston Castle. Link to comment
taurean
You can also, when it reopens, go and see the Asian short-clawed otters that I have a bronze adoption on at Chester zoo! I find watching "the secret life of the zoo" soothing and restful. Link to comment

I used to live in Frodsham if you know it? The sand stone trail is beautiful. Link to comment
OB1
I love Dartmoor, the sea and the coastline, especially around Whitsand and Rame Head. Link to comment
Avo
I used to work near Frodsham, I remember years ago on a works night out going to a Chinese restaurant there that had a bridge over a little pond as you went inside? was in called the Chinese delight or something? food was very nice. we are talking about 24 years probably? I used to live in Manchester but now live in Cumbria, I really like the access to green space rather than mile after mile of urban sprawl. Edited January 23, 2021 by Avo Link to comment
OB1
I was there around 2008/9 and can’t think of where that is. My girlfriend lived in Manchester so spent a bit of time there too. Cumbria is lovely. I used to go to the Lakes a lot and miss it as well as the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. Link to comment
