Ralph Posted March 18, 2021 Share Posted March 18, 2021 Hi, I had high intensity CBT for OCD about 2 years ago and It helped me to overcome the negative thoughts. Though, now, the thoughts really ‘hurt’ like they used to and I can’t go on like this. please can someone recommend something to help please as i can’t seem to tell myself they are only thoughts like I used to. help please thank you in advance Link to comment
OB1 Posted March 19, 2021 Share Posted March 19, 2021 Hi Ralph, Sorry to hear this, I think the first port of call is to revisit what you did in previous therapy. Sounds like you’re forgetting to apply some of it. Also, remember there are no good or bad thoughts. You are labelling them which is causing distress and keeping the cycle going.
