Angst
Yes it’s a good book. It was the first book that I read about OCD because it was recommended by a OCD charity and subsequently by a therapist. I like the vignettes in it where they provide brief stories about patients who suffered various types of OCD. I could self identify with them. The same content is provided in Break Free From OCD. The only real difference between the two books is that Overcoming OCD uses more of a technical vocabulary than Break Free. Interestingly, Veale and the authors of Break Free are employed in the specialist treatment centres for OCD in London or Oxford. Link to comment
