Say goodbye to the OCD bully

Hi All,

2021 has been a year that I don’t won’t to repeat.

I have found working from home difficult to adjust to.

After having a bad unwanted thought pop into my head “I’ll kill you later “ about someone I love very much it upset me greatly. 

I certainly didn’t deliberately think it so not sure whether it was the OCD bully or maybe repressed frustration being in lockdown that caused it. Either way it was very upsetting and unwanted.

I then spent a good part of the year thinking I was either an evil person or going mad.
 

Too much time at home and too much opportunity for ruminating which became a terrible habit. That was definitely the OCD taking over and I wish I had realised that earlier. 

I am starting CBT and determined to stop the OCD bully from taking over my life. I’ve spent too much time worrying over this.
