Ashley
As some of you will know we are working on a book and, and I wanted to try and illustrate to those readers without OCD how OCD makes us feel so I was going to compile and list and I thought why not invite you all to be involved. So, which one single word best describes how OCD makes you feel? I will choose the best 10-15 answers for the book. I won't be able to credit all by name, but I will thank the 'OCD-UK forum members for their contributions). Link to comment

Symps07
Scared or ashamed. I'm not sure which is more prominent. I think most of the time I feel ashamed for either what the thoughts are, might mean or having the whole process of OCD. Just wasting so much life on expending time on the thoughts and compulsions. So I'll go for Ashamed. Edited April 17, 2022 by Symps07 Link to comment

BelAnna
I'm not sure I can accurately sum it up in one word but: Distressed, terrorized, overwhelmed, paralysed, uncertain, incapable, unsafe, destroyed, stuck and consumed by fear and doubt. Edited April 17, 2022 by BelAnna Link to comment
