Don’t be ashamed..

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

So I wanted to share something incase anyone is feeling ‘ashamed’ or ‘embarrassed’ to open up.

Today my workplace put me on their weekly ‘staff matters’ to promote my 1.2 challenge for OCD UK. Nobody at work (apart from my direct line manager) knows I have OCD.. I took the leap of faith (to get sponsors) and now hundreds of thousands of my colleagues that I work with, see and speak to daily all know about it.

Im sure I will get lots of questions from my very close “work friends” but that’s neither here nor there, it’s for a good cause.

Keep up the fight, I hope it inspires at least one as it would do me 🧡🧡

Well done, Ryan! Opening up about having OCD is often difficult, so you should be doubly proud of yourself - for seeking sponsorship and for doing the walking!

:cheer: :clapping:

I hope you get lots of sponsors, and goodwill and understanding from your work colleagues as a result. :)
