OCD revels in filtering out the positive and dwelling on the negative. Going out to find positives abd recording them helps to shift the balance. Link to comment

But what’s helped is too create a distance between the thoughts and when i feel much calmer, i can focus on something more positive or practice gratitude. Link to comment
