  1. Thank you very much for the answer You are absolutely right with everything and I need to stop ruminating or trying to identify if those are just false memories. Do (Did) you also have the problem that the more you ruminate if something really happened, the more pictures your brain produces and it feels more real? Then it is nearly impossible for me to not think about it because the consequences if the event really happened would be devastating?
  2. Hi I'm struggling with several types of OCD but false memory is the worst. First of all, how do I identify a false memory in the first place? And I know that the goal of not going to react to those thoughts is that I eventually won't care anymore. But will I also eventually know that the thoughts I had were false memories? Best regards!
