LauraOCDUK
Hi all! As many of you will know, in Tuesday's group we discussed PIP (Personal Independence Payment) as some support group attendees have made successful claims and others are in the process of applying or have had difficulties. The OCD-UK team aren't able to provide in depth advice on benefits as it is not one of our areas of expertise, but there were some really helpful tips shared by attendees on Tuesday so we wanted to create this thread to share and draw upon our support group community knowledge. Please feel free to share your experiences, tips, and ask any questions that hopefully other community members will be able to advise on 🙂 I've also shared an article from our most recent members magazine about PIP and other benefits people with OCD may be entitled to, and these links may also be helpful for in depth information: https://www.mentalhealthandmoneyadvice.org/en/welfare-benefits/ https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/ https://www.mind.org.uk/information-support/tips-for-everyday-living/money-and-mental-health/claiming-benefits/ Link to comment
